After patiently waiting for a few months and tweaking everything to perfection, the Korean smartphone industry giant Samsung has finally rolled out Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) for its Galaxy Note users in the UK. This is something very great for all the Samsung Galaxy Note users to rejoice to.

This update is not yet available for users on a carrier but those who actually bought an Unlocked / Sim-Free phone which is not locked to any specific carrier like Orange, Vodafone or O2.

The ICS (Android 4.0) update brings a number of minor and major tweaks to the 5.3 inch Phone/Tablet, the Galaxy Note. The interface has been completely redone, and makes the users feel like a completely new device in their hands. With an added Face Unlock feature, this is no less than Mr. James Bond’s favorite gadget. A few new premium apps will be made available to the Galaxy Note users in ICS like the card-creating app known as ‘S Story’. A new better note-taking app has been added called ‘S Note’ which allows users to take notes anytime and anywhere with extreme ease. And last but not least, there is some exclusive Android Birds Space content just for the massive phone device.

The update measures in at about 320MB~ and is available for download through Samsung’s PC connectivity suite for the Note.
