Microsoft set to Release Office for Android Tablets and iPads

One largest software makers in the world, Microsoft, just announced they will be releasing Microsoft Office for Android Tablets and Apple’s iPads. They will also add an Outlook Web app just for iOS around this fall.

Though no official comments from Microsoft have surfaced, reports have been it through that the complete suite of Microsoft apps including Office with Word, Excel and Powerpoint will be made available for Android Tabs and iPads around November.

According to the source, the app will look identical to the images that were leaked on the internet a few months ago. It has also been suggested that it may make its way to the iPod Touch and iPhone in the following months.

This would be a great relief to all Android Tablet users looking to use the complete Office suite on their Android Tabs or Smartphones. For iOS users, it will require iOS 5 or higher to work.

Microsoft Office for Android Tablets and iPadOutlook will also be released for the devices with the same functionality as the PC versions of the software. They are expected to make it on both Android and Apple gadgets around the same time.
